This month we will be doing a few things:
1. Independent Novel Study - The Graveyard Book, by Neil Gaiman, is to be read at home. Students have until March 24th to finish the novel. This averages out to 12 pages per night, although some students will want to read a bit more quickly or chapter by chapter. No problem there!!! A task package will be published periodically and tied to each of the 8 chapters. 2. Romeo and Juliet!!! We will be reading and performing passages of the shortened version of Shakespeare's famous and tragic love story! Projects on the play will be assigned later this month. The following represents the materials used to learn about the art of persuasion. It includes some links to various activities including the description of the project. A rubric is in progress and will be added shortly.
All completed Thinglinks showing off work from Math, Histoire, English and Science are due Monday! Long live ancient Mesopotamia!
Check out your child's drive! In there you will find their English folder. In the English folder you'll see:
